Our after-school Dance Club has been full of energy and smiles, with our Reception and KS1 children having an absolutely fantastic time! Each session begins with exciting warm-up games where the children dance freely while the music plays and then quickly strike a pose when it stops—there are some wonderfully creative shapes. They have also been learning simple dance moves inspired by different animals and styles of music, from stomping like elephants to fluttering like butterflies. Working together in small groups, the children have been building their confidence and teamwork skills as they combine their moves to create their own brilliant little performances. It has been such a joy to see their imagination, enthusiasm, and growing love of dance shine through each week.
