Cooking and the importance of healthy eating lessons take place throughout the year within our curriculum in areas such as: Science, PSHE, DT, Maths and English.
Each class has the opportunity to learn how to create their own healthy meal. As this is part of the NHS core competencies, we understand the importance of developing our children’s skills and knowledge.
The NHS Food Scanner app can be downloaded from your app store on your mobile phone or tablet. Scan barcodes on your food packets to find out how healthy they really are.
New recipes will be put onto our school webpage to help give you ideas and inspire a healthy lunch. Click below for our healthy lunch recipes;
